Residents of São Paulo can submit proposals for the 2025 Orçamento Cidadão via the Participe+ platform or at regional public hearings in the 32 Subprefeituras until April 25. Invites for improvements to the Sapopemba district remain open via Participe+ until April 12. The city also ran a public consultation from October 13 to 17 on the 2026 street-bloco selection rules.

These channels allow people living in different neighbourhoods to record views on how funds and concessions may affect housing access, park maintenance and local events. Participation occurs through an online platform or attendance at sessions held by the Subprefeituras.

Extended deadlines for park and administrative concessions

A public consultation for the concession of six urban parks in São Paulo was extended with a deadline of August 1, 2025. The consultation for the concession of the new Campos Elíseos Administrative Center was also extended, with participation open until March 13, 2025. Both processes collect comments on how these facilities will be managed under concession arrangements.
